Beyoncé back at the Met Gala, and she’s making it a family affair!
On Monday, May 4, the 44-year-old musician hit the steps at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art in style, making her first appearance at the star-studded event in a decade alongside her 14-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, and her husband, Jay-Z.
Speaking with Vogue, Beyoncé said it felt “surreal” to attend the event — where the dress code this year was "Fashion Is Art" — with the teen by her side.
"It feels surreal because my daughter's here," the musician, who also co-chaired this year's gala, said on the magazine's livestream. "She looks so beautiful. It's incredible to be able to share with her; I think she looks so incredible."

The couple and their eldest daughter (they also share 8-year-old twins Rumi and Sir) showcased their ensembles while snapping several photos together on The Met steps — and, naturally, each got a few solo shots in as well.
