Behind the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) is a dedicated support system of wives and girlfriends (WAGs) who’ve stood by the players both on and off the pitch.

As co-hosts of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the USMNT entered the tournament with home-field advantage and hopes of improving on its Round 16 exit in 2022. Behind them, they have a group of partners — and kids! — cheering them on.

Kristen Sapienza, wife of defender Tim Ream, has been by her husband’s side since his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut in 2010. Now the couple, along with their three children, are set to experience their second World Cup together.

Meanwhile, forward Brenden Aaronson tied the knot with former college soccer star Milana D’Ambra just hours before he departed for USMNT training camp in May 2026.

Ashley Turner, Matt Turner’s wife

After privately exchanging nuptials in 2022, Matt Turner and wife Ashley Turner (née Herron) held a second celebration with friends and family in May 2024.

The couple first crossed paths while living in Boston. At the time, Matt was playing for the New England Revolution, while Ashley was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots. They share two kids: son Easton, who was born in June 2022, and daughter Everley, whom they welcomed in September 2023.

Matt told PEOPLE in May 2024 that he feels grateful to have a "life partner" in Ashley.

"I found the person who makes me better, holds me accountable, but also helps me to have fun and enjoy life even more," he said. "Being married is special because you are a team and you are giving yourself to that person intimately and totally. When you can have that much trust in someone, it’s an amazing feeling."

Sarah Schmidt, Tyler Adams’ wife

Longtime partners Tyler Adams and Sarah Schmidt have been going strong since 2019.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Jaxon, in January 2024. They officially tied the knot in July 2025 — just three months before the birth of their second son, Myles Hudson, in October 2025.

"Happy birthday to my favorite human being, doing life with you gets better everyday," Adams wrote to Schmidt in a November 2022 birthday tribute. "Lucky to spend the best moments in life by your side. Love you more than you’ll ever know 🖤."

Darcy Myers, Antonee Robinson’s fiancée

Defender Antonee Robinson celebrated six years with his fiancée Darcy Myers in January 2026.

In 2021, the couple shared that they were expecting their first child together, and their daughter, Atlas, was born that December. The pair got engaged in March 2022, and their family expanded again with the arrival of their second baby, Ocean, more than two years later in May 2024.

"Not a day goes by that I don’t feel blessed to have met you," Robinson wrote on Instagram in January 2022. "Happy anniversary my love 💖."

Emily Berardino Trusty, Auston Trusty’s wife

Auston Trusty and Emily Berardino Trusty are new parents — they announced the birth of their daughter a little over a year ago in April 2025.

After seven years together, the Celtic FC defender popped the question during a May 2024 trip to Italy’s Amalfi Coast.  They sealed the deal in an intimate ceremony in April 2025, just days before their little girl’s arrival.

A proud wife, Emily has been in the stands for many of Auston’s career milestones, including his team’s 2026 Scottish Premiership triumph. In a heartfelt birthday post on Instagram, Emily called Auston “the kindest, funniest, most humble, loyal person I know.”

“I fall more in love with you each day,” she wrote.

Chloe Reyna, Gio Reyna’s wife

Childhood sweethearts Gio Reyna and Chloe Reyna (née Ortolano) wed on July 18, 2025.

The couple, who got engaged in May 2024, both spent their adolescence competing in elite soccer clubs. Ortolano went on to land herself a spot on the Providence College women's soccer team, according to her collegiate athlete bio.

Today, the couple splits their time between the U.S. and Germany, where Reyna plays as a midfielder for Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga.

Milana D'Ambra, Brenden Aaronson’s wife

Aaronson and D’Ambra met when they were teenagers at a Sweet 16 party and have been inseparable ever since.

The Leeds forward proposed to his childhood love in August 2024. The pair spent the following year and a half planning a big New Jersey wedding — only for it to get cut short by training camp for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Speaking with U.S. Soccer, Aaronson described his wedding as “a really amazing whirlwind of days that I’m never going to forget.”

“It’s not easy to be leaving on a wedding night, but she’s been with me since the beginning,” Aaronson said. “She knows how many days we’ve been through doing all the football stuff. For her to be as cool as she is is amazing.”

D’Ambra also comes from a strong soccer background. Her father is Don D’Ambra, former head coach of the men’s soccer team at Saint Joseph’s University. She played at Temple University before multiple knee injuries forced her to step away from the sport in 2022, per the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Kristen Sapienza, Tim Ream’s wife

Ream and Sapienza first crossed paths as student-athletes at St. Louis University — and for Ream, it was love at first sight.

“The first thing I noticed about her was her smile. I’m not sappy like that, but I really noticed how amazing her smile was. I said ‘Wow’,” Ream recalled to MLSsoccer.com in August 2010.

Since tying the knot in 2012, the couple have welcomed three children: sons Aidan and Theo and daughter Lilia. The family now calls North Carolina home, as Ream plays for Charlotte FC.

Although he's represented the USMNT at several major tournaments, Ream is most excited to see his family in the stands at this year’s World Cup on home soil.

"Seeing them in the stands … just knowing that all the hard work, all the decisions, everything that we've gone through as a family unit has been totally worth it, and just the fact that we get to experience it together in different ways, it's going to be really special,” he told PEOPLE in June 2026 ahead of the World Cup.

Ciana Baron, Cristian Roldan’s wife

Cristian Roldan has been in a relationship with Ciana Baron for over a decade. The two were both student-athletes at the University of Washington, where Baron was on the track and field team and Roldan played soccer.

In December 2022, the couple married in a New Year’s Eve wedding bash. Their daughter, Mia Valentina, was born in July 2024. Baron is now a physician's assistant on the blood and marrow transplant team at University of Washington Medical Center, according to her work bio page.

Jana Kz, Haji Wright’s wife

After making their relationship Instagram official in May 2022, forward Haji Wright and Jana Kz welcomed their son in summer 2023.

The couple got engaged in November 2024 and wed in July 2025 at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.

Kelsey Mentzer, Matt Freese’s girlfriend

Matt Freese and Kelsey Mentzer have been dating since at least 2022.

While they tend to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, Mentzer has remained a constant presence by the goalkeeper’s side throughout his career with New York City FC and the USMNT. The two have traveled together all over the world, including to Paris and the Catskills.

Sabrina Enciso, Alejandro Zendejas’ girlfriend

Forward Alejandro Zendejas and Sabrina Enciso first sparked romance rumors in 2023. Since then, they have since offered several glimpses into their relationship on social media, attending weddings and celebrating wins together.

"Happy birthday my love! Hope this day is just as special as you are!" Zendejas wrote on Instagram in February 2024. "Thank you for being such a blessing in my life! For many more together! 🕺🏽♥️🫰🏽."

Both compete at the highest levels of Mexican soccer: Zendejas is a forward for Club América in Mexico City, while Enciso plays defender for Tigres UANL in Liga MX Femenil.
