Taylor Swift's longtime best friend Abigail Anderson Berard was in attendance to see the pop star's wedding dreams come true as she and Travis Kelce tied the knot.
The bride's bestie, 36, was all smiles as she left a New York City hotel to head to Madison Square Garden, where the celebration took place. Anderson Berard was dressed in a Sau Lee gown with a fitted corset top adorned with magnolia flowers and a deep-brown silk skirt. Her signature curly locks were down and perfectly coifed despite the intense heat the day brought.

Swift's longtime bestie has showed her support for the mega star over the years. Anderson Berard appeared in the crowd at the Eras Tour in Nashville and stepped out with the singer at the 57th Grammy Awards in 2015. She was also featured in Swift's Miss Americana documentary, and made cameos in several of Swift's music videos, including “Picture to Burn,” “I'm Only Me When I'm with You,” “New Romantics” and, of course, “Fifteen.”

Swift was a bridesmaid when Anderson Berard married her first husband, photographer Matt Lucier, in September 2017; however, the pair went on to separate in 2021.
In September 2022, Anderson Berard married Charles “Charlie” Berard, chief technology officer at Celero Commerce and they welcomed their first baby, a son named Bennett, in August 2024. When Anderson Berard first announced her pregnancy earlier that year, she posted on Instagram with a nod to Swift in her caption.
"I'm having his babyyyy… 💙," Anderson Berard wrote, quoting lyrics from Swift's The Tortured Poet's Department track "But Daddy I Love Him."

In June 2025, just a couple of months before Swift and Kelce got engaged, they stepped out with Anderson Berard and her husband for a double date night at the Tight End University party at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post shared on Aug. 26, 2025, which included several photos from their enchanting garden proposal. The pictures showed Kelce getting down on one knee and the pair embracing each other after he popped the question.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," Swift wrote in the caption.

Ahead of Swift and Kelce's nuptials, the couple and their guests kept most details under wraps, including the location of their reception. However, San Francisco 49ers player George Kittle did reveal to ExtraTV that guests were told "absolutely no gifts."
A few days prior to the longtime couple's wedding, rumors swirled that the two would be getting married at Madison Square Garden. Dora Pekec, a spokesperson for the New York City Hall, confirmed to PEOPLE last week that a permit was filed through the City Street Activity Office to shut down the area around MSG.
The permit was filed for authorization to set up a tent or canopy outside the arena for the event, which would include 500-999 attendees and also covers space for trucks in the area to load and unload materials at the arena.
Though MSG might seem like an unconventional wedding venue, it may make sense for Taylor and Travis, whose relationship sits at the intersection of two of the venue's defining attractions: blockbuster concerts and major sporting events. It also offers several safety, security, and privacy advantages.
