All About Mark Ruffalo’s 3 Kids, Including “Sterling Point” Star Keen

Mark Ruffalo may transform into the terrifying Hulk, but in real life, he’s a doting father to three children.

The Avengers actor and his wife, Sunrise Coigney, have been married since 2000 and went on to welcome three children together. The couple became parents when they welcomed son Keen in 2001, and later added daughters Bella and Odette to the family in 2005 and 2007, respectively.

Ruffalo reflected on fatherhood in 2019 and told PEOPLE that balancing his career, philanthropic endeavors and parenting can be challenging but comes with big rewards.

“I like those moments where you’re just chugging along and then, all of a sudden, your kids open up to you, and you have this deep conversation where they express their troubles — it’s hard for them, especially at that age. But my kids are way more savvy than I was, man. They’re so engaged in the world,” he said.

While the kids initially stayed out of the spotlight when they were younger, both Keen and Bella have started attending more public events with their parents. Keen has also followed in his father’s footsteps and starred in the 2026 drama Sterling Point.

Keen Ruffalo, 25

Ruffalo and Coigney’s oldest child, Keen, was born on June 19, 2001, one year after his parents wed.

Ruffalo’s eldest has officially started following in his father’s footsteps with acting and has had smaller appearances in films like Begin Again and Thor: Ragnarok and TV shows Hal & Harper and Task. However, in 2026, Keen has already led two projects. Keen portrays Connor, alongside Ella Rubin, in the 2026 Prime Video series Sterling Point.

“He’s such a large character,” Keen told PEOPLE of Connor. “He’s very expressive and he’s got such movement that’s exaggerated. That tickled the kind of theater acting that I was taught. It’s not something you get usually to do on film, so that was a treat.”

He added, “He’s such a fun dude. There’s layers to him where I think at that age it’s hard to figure out what you want to do. He feels definitely overshadowed a lot. I think he copes with the anxiety through humor, which I think is very relatable, at least for me.”

In addition, he also stars as Wayne in the Green Day–inspired movie Nimrods, which hit theaters on Aug. 14, 2026.

Keen has also made various public appearances — including sitting beside his dad, mom and youngest sister, Odette, when Ruffalo virtually won best actor at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards for his dual role in the HBO miniseries I Know This Much Is True. In his speech, Ruffalo thanked his family for supporting his career.

Ruffalo has shared sweet messages about his eldest on Instagram. For Keen’s birthday in 2021, the Just Like Heaven actor posted a photo of his son smiling with the caption, “Happy Birthday, Keeno! 20 years to heaven. I’m so grateful you are my boy. I held you in my arms like a treasure. I hold you in my heart like a treasure … Proud of you son.”

The Poor Things star shared a similar sentiment in 2023 with a post featuring a throwback photo of Keen. “22 years and stronger than ever,” the actor wrote in the caption.

Bella Noche Ruffalo, 21

Ruffalo and Coigney welcomed their first daughter, Bella Noche, on April 12, 2005.

The Dark Waters actor has said he’s proud of her for growing into an individual. “My daughter, Bella, so big and beautiful and coming into her own,” Ruffalo captioned an Instagram photo of his middle child in 2021.

Bella has made a number of red carpet appearances over the years. She was her dad’s date to the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, where the duo wore matching suits, and they paired up again for Roundabout Theatre Company’s 2017 Spring Gala in New York City.

In 2022, Bella stuck close to her mom and dad at the premiere of The Adam Project and threw up the heart sign with her dad and older brother Keen at the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law debut. She also appeared alongside them at the Poor Things London premiere in December 2023.

In honor of Bella’s 21st birthday, Coigney shared a sweet message on Instagram. “This is 21. You made it this far my love, keep on going. I love you madly, I love you deeply, for ever and ever ❤️,” she wrote.

Odette Moon Ruffalo, 18

The youngest of the Ruffalo brood, daughter Odette, was born on Oct. 14, 2007.

When Odette and her siblings visited the set of Thor: Ragnarok in 2017, Ruffalo told Entertainment Tonight the kids “were dressed up as Dr. Seuss characters,” and while they enjoyed their day on set, one was all they needed.

“They were like, ‘The camera was on us. It was on us.’ They had a great day. They were there all day, which is exactly the experience I want them to have,” the actor said.

Ruffalo added that his kids “love” his superhero role. He told the outlet that his daughter tells her friends at school, “My dad’s The Hulk.”

Odette has joined her family for a handful of public events. In 2013, she had a playdate with another famous mother-kid duo, Naomi Watts and her son Sasha Schreiber, at an N.Y.C. screening of Frozen. Odette also hung out with her sister, Bella, and mom at a screening of The BFG in 2016.

Coigney has given her youngest a few birthday shout-outs on Instagram. For her 18th birthday in 2025, the mom wrote on Instagram, “This is 18th. You are soooo loved #odettemoonruffalo. And maybe the coolest person I know ❤️.”
