NEED TO KNOW

  • Air Tahiti Nui is offering travel advisors a chance to win a trip to French Polynesia
  • Advisors earn points for booking eligible fares, which can be redeemed for complimentary airfare in various cabin classes
  • The airline was recently named Best Leisure Airline for the sixth consecutive year by Global Traveler Magazine

To celebrate Travel Advisor Appreciation Month, a popular international airline is reportedly launching a new incentive program offering travel advisors a chance to win a trip for two to French Polynesia.

From May 1 to 31, travel advisors booking eligible round-trip fares and recording them in Air Tahiti Nui's official hub will earn points for every transaction, according to Travel Market Report. The rewards will vary by route and cabin, with higher rewards on long-haul and business class fares.

Bookings from Los Angeles to Sydney earn up to 24 points, with Los Angeles to Paris and Los Angeles to Tahiti earning up to 16 points.

Advisors can redeem these accumulated points for complimentary airfare. At 50 points, users can redeem a round-trip economy ticket, at 100, they can redeem a round-trip Manava premium ticket and at 250, they can redeem a round-trip business class fare.

Each qualifying booking made in the month of May will also automatically enter advisors into the sweepstakes for a trip to French Polynesia.

According to the outlet, the trip includes round-trip airfare in Manava Premium, a seven-night cruise on board Windstar Cruises' Star Breeze, transfers  and a day room to relax in before the flight home.

To participate, travel advisors must register for the Nui Hub platform online. Bookings must be made between May 1 and 31, but no travel period restrictions apply.

Earlier this month, Air Tahiti Nui was named the Best Leisure Airline for the sixth time in a row by Global Traveler Magazine. The Leisure Lifestyle Awards, voted on by readers, recognize the best companies across hotels, airports and airlines from around the world.

“For the Air Tahiti Nui teams, this award represents a meaningful achievement. It honors years of dedication to quality onboard service and to crafting the sincere human experience the airline strives to deliver to each customer,” the company said in a press release. “From the moment they step aboard the Tahitian Dreamliners, passengers are embraced by the warmth of Polynesian hospitality, setting the tone for an authentic journey to The Islands of Tahiti.”
