Leave it to Kate Middleton to give beer pong the royal treatment.
Fellow royal Mike Tindall revealed the popular drinking game is Middleton’s favorite, but she replaces the beer with prosecco for a classy twist.
“I knew that the Princess of Wales was uber competitive because I’d seen her play a drinking game called beer pong, but normally we play prosecco pong! She still plays it with us,” Mike, who is married to Prince William’s cousin Zara Tindall, claimed in a new interview with Woman & Home.
“Sport is rife throughout the family – everyone is competitive,” he added of the royal clan.
Mike previously teased Middleton about her love of beer pong on his “The Good, The Bad & The Rugby” podcast back in 2023.
“I’m not going to say you’re uber competitive,” he said before pausing to give a nod indicating she really is.
“I’m not competitive at all,” Middleton coyly replied.
“I’ve seen her play beer pong!” Mike quipped.
While she might still enjoy a game of prosecco pong from time to time, the princess has previously spoken about cutting back on alcohol following her cancer diagnosis.
During her and William’s visit to the Southwark Brewing Company in London back in March, Middleton said, “Since my diagnosis, I haven’t had much alcohol. It’s something I have to be a lot more conscious of now,” per The Sun’s royal editor, Matt Wilkinson.
After going public with her diagnosis in March 2024, Middleton, 44, was able to return to many of her normal activities — like going to the gym — by that November after completing her chemotherapy treatments.
“From what I understand, Catherine is doing very well,” royal author Robert Jobson, who referred to the Princess of Wales by her birth name, told Hello! at the time. “She is back training at the gym and doing all the things she wanted to do.”
In January 2025, she shared that she was in remission.
Last week, William gave an emotional update on his wife’s recovery from her cancer battle following her solo trip to Italy.
“I’m so proud — incredibly proud,” the Prince of Wales gushed in an interview with “Heart Breakfast” hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden. “She’s been amazing.”
“She’s been through so much in the last couple of years, particularly. And yeah, she’d been looking forward to the Italian trip a lot,” he said. “And so I’m really glad it went really well.”
William also raved about how she’s been with him and their three kids: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.
“She’s an amazing mum, an amazing wife, and, literally, our family couldn’t cope without her,” he said, “so, she’s been absolutely stunning, brilliant.”
