Olivia Culpo is opening up about her second pregnancy.
In a May 22 TikTok, the former Miss Universe winner took to social media to share how she learned that she was pregnant, six months after giving birth to her first baby.
Culpo and her husband, Christian McCaffrey, who is the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, announced that they were expecting baby number two in a May 8 Instagram post — to the surprise of many. The post, captioned, "Best birthday gift ❤️ Baby #2 coming soon 🥹," came on Culpo's 34th birthday and featured Culpo, McCaffrey, their daughter Colette, 10 months, and their dog Oliver sitting on a picnic blanket in a field.
Beginning her TikTok, which she said was a "capsule" from the moment she found out she was pregnant with her second baby at just six months postpartum, the content creator broke down her emotions regarding the pregnancy.
"I did not think that this was going to happen the way that it did," Culpo added in the May 22 TikTok. "I am so fortunate to be able to bring another child into the world. Few things that have been running through my mind, cause I just really didn't plan on this at all … Well, I hope that this baby is healthy."
Culpo went on to reveal that, after having a C-section for Colette back in July, she was "definitely not totally healed." However, she added that she was encouraged by the fact that "plenty of people have done this before."
"In the beginning, I was like, 'Oh, my god, can I even do this? Is this allowed? Like, what's gonna happen?'" she added. She also candidly shared that she had been in the "middle of really starting to feel like was getting my groove back" when she found out about the pregnancy. "I was working out. I could see some abs coming. That's just not what the body wants right now."

The content creator also launched into a few things she would be doing differently with her pregnancy the second time around. "I'm definitely not gonna find out the gender, unless Christian makes me," she laughed. "I will probably have to go on progesterone again because I have endometriosis. There's something called adenomyosis that the progesterone will help. And I was on 800 or 600 Milligrams of it last pregnancy, and that's what helped stop the bleeding because she had a small rupture."
"I also never stopped taking my prenatal, so I literally have the same exact regimen," she added. Culpo also mentioned that she had recently stopped breastfeeding Colette just a few weeks prior to filming the video, and had recently booked appointments for her Botox and filler regimen that she was going to have to cancel.
"I just wish that I had planned a little better," she said at the end of the video.
Culpo and McCaffrey welcomed Colette on July 10, 2025, the couple revealed in an Instagram post at the time. Shortly after, Culpo shared several color photos from the day on her Instagram Stories, sharing that childbirth was “the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences.”
Back in October, Culpo opened up about life at home with her baby daughter. The new mom shared that she initially was worried that having a daughter would prevent her career from moving forward.
"There's totally a shift," she admitted of becoming a mother during an episode of The Squeeze podcast. "Whether or not you want there to be or not, you have somebody that's physically dependent on you. So I'm not going to sugarcoat it. Yeah, it's scary." However, Culpo explained that she's been able to lean on her NFL player husband while she's navigated finding a balance between working and motherhood.
"I'm so grateful that I have my husband because while I'm totally working and I'm doing everything in my power to keep working and I'm so happy to have the opportunities that I have," said Culpo. "Let's say they all went away — would I have the same ability 10, 12, 15, 20 years ago to light that fire up my butt when I have somebody who really needs me, which is my baby? No."
