After a season of love triangles, illuminating movie time and cameos from cool grandparents, Love Island USA has landed on its final four couples.
On Friday, July 10, the Peacock dating series announced the final eight contestants before the season finale on Sunday, July 12.
Before heading into the episode, six pairings remained in the villa: Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff, Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou, Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt, Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea, KC Chandler and Tierra Davis, and Kenzie Annis and Dylan Wrona.
It all came down to a fan vote to select this season’s final four pairings, with viewers at home tasked with picking their top couples of the remaining six. The islanders finally discovered their fates in Friday night’s episode.
As they all gathered around the dinner table and, one by one, opened the fortune cookies that revealed their futures, Aniya and Carl were announced as the first safe couple, followed by Trinity and Bryce, and Melanie and Sincere.
Then it was Kenzie and Dylan’s turn, and they learned that their time had come to an end. Kayda, Zach, KC and Tierra opened their cookies at the same time, revealing the latter couple would be heading home.

The islanders tearfully said goodbye to one another, and the four eliminated contestants shared their final remarks. Kenzie told the group, “Love y’all. I’m super thankful. I just feel blessed.”
Fellow original islander KC added, “This has been a journey, to be on the other side and see all of you guys happy; that makes me happy. I’m leaving with someone. I got a girlfriend,” and Kenzie chimed in to perform her last split for the group.

The announcement of this year’s finalists comes one episode after Family Day, in which the islanders reunited with their loved ones in Fiji and introduced them to their other halves.
While some families meshed well, others had things to work out with their loved ones. Melanie and Sincere were visited by Sincere’s dad, Benjamin Sr., and brother, Benjamin Jr., as well as Melanie’s mom, Zoila, and her sister, Stephany. Sincere’s father called his son’s behavior on the show “unacceptable.” He referred to the visit as “a reality check” in a confessional, while Melanie’s sister advised her that she deserved “better.”
As for the six couples that remained pre-vote, only three consisted of Casa Amor contestants: Carl, Tierra, and Dylan. Sincere and Melanie, Zach and Kayda, and Bryce and Trinity paired up toward the start of the season. Kayda, meanwhile, entered the villa as one of its original bombshells.
The Love Island USA season 8 finale drops Sunday, July 12, at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
