Jenni “JWoww” Farley is clapping back at those criticizing her body.
On Sunday, June 7, the Jersey Shore star posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a black swimsuit. Two days later, she shared a video revealing the nasty comments she received about her weight and appearance. “PSA because I am sick and dying 😭,” she wrote.
The 41-year-old explained that in addition to comments left underneath the photo, she also received a Google alert about an article claiming she looked “deathly sick.”
“I don't even know what to say,” she said in the clip. “A girl can never win. You gain weight, you're a fat piece of s—. You lose weight, you must be dying of some sort of horrendous disease.”
“I love when people are like, ‘Oh my God, you look so good' when you lose weight. But then if you gain it, the 5-10 lbs., the silence is deafening because those same people that like you at your skinniest won't say anything when you gain weight.”

Farley said that she's simply been working out lately, but weight loss isn't her intention. She also shared that she lost a little weight after a brief sickness following a recent trip to Miami. However, she stressed that her weight fluctuates, and that it's frustrating to get criticism about her appearance either way.
“I lost weight. I'm a female. I'm 41. I really don't know what else to say,” she continued. “I didn't do it on purpose. It's not gonna last because it never does, especially when you're a woman in your 40s. I probably will gain 10 lbs. by the end of the summer and then I'll get a new article that says ‘you fat bitch' or something of that extent, or ‘Oh my God she gained weight, is she pregnant?' This is just a small dose of what it's like being a female in this day and age.”

The reality star said that it's "ironic" that she's receiving negative comments after sharing a photo wearing a swimsuit because she intentionally avoided posting herself in one for years because of the possible scrutiny.
“If I wear a bathing suit and I'm at 150 lbs. it's ‘Holy God, she's a fat whatever' but if I wear a bathing suit now at 135 lbs., ‘Oh my God she must be sick. Is she okay?' God f—ing forbid if I'm not," she continued.
