'Vanderpump Rules' alum Ariana Madix is back to host the hit Peacock reality series

Clear your summer schedule, because a new season of Love Island USA has entered the villa.
In recent years, the Peacock reality series has become a sensation, with season 7 being the most-watched original TV season of 2025, per Variety.
Season 8 of Love Island USA will keep things heated as a cast of new bombshells arrive, looking for a romantic connection. One person returning is Ariana Madix, who is back as host.
"The show really took off in a different way than it had before," the Vanderpump Rules star told PEOPLE in May 2026. "And to be able to say that — not only am I the host of my favorite show, but I'm also the host of the number-one show in all of streaming, scripted or unscripted — that's something I'm very, very proud to be a part of."

Love Island USA season 8 premieres on June 2.
Madix has been hosting Love Island USA since season 6. When commenting on returning for the new season, she said, "I'm very, very excited."
"The show is — yes, it's fun and it's sexy and it's bright colors and it's flashy, but by the end of the summer, I've fallen in love with like, 10 to 15 to 20 people, and getting to watch them have this best summer of their lives and open themselves up to me, the world, all of us, is really a gift," she told Deadline in April 2026. "I'm so grateful I have the best job in the world."
What nights do new episodes of Love Island USA air?

For the first week of season 8 — starting June 2 — Love Island will be dropping new episodes daily.
Following premiere week, the series will switch to five nights a week. The episodes will air on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. There will be no episodes on Wednesdays, and Aftersun will air on Saturdays.
Season 7 had 37 episodes, including the reunion, according to TV Guide.
What time do new episodes of Love Island USA premiere?

On the nights with new Love Island USA, the episodes will premiere at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
Season 8 of Love Island USA will start with 11 contestants entering the villa. Ahead of the premiere, one contestant — Vasana Montgomery — was pulled from the cast after social media posts surfaced of her allegedly using the N-word.
When does Love Island Aftersun air?

Aftersun — the Love Island aftershow — will air on Saturdays.
Summer House star Ciara Miller and content creator Tefi Pessoa will be hosting the weekly companion series recapping the latest episodes and eliminations — while teasing some upcoming twists.
According to a press release, Aftersun will feature "exclusive never-before-seen footage" and "intimate in-depth interviews with departing Islanders." The show will also "introduce incoming bombshells before they even step foot into the Villa."
