In the comments section, a fan asked, "what happened to not wanting to be in it hmmmmmm."
In response, Liam wrote, "Well I was speaking to my mummy last night when the news broke and she thinks I may have been a little hasty with my perception of the organization she's told me to stop being a dick and go to the awards and behave and you never know you might enjoy it."
Earlier in the night, he also joked, "Reverse psychology vibes in the area Oasis RnR hall of farmers I mean famers."
When asked what he will say during his acceptance speech, Liam joked, "Well I'll obv bring a box of chocolates and flowers and apologize to the organizers for my ignorance."
To several fans who commented saying they voted for Oasis, he wrote back saying they were "the best."
Meanwhile, to fans calling him a "hypocrite" for criticizing the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, he responded, "i know rite what a c—."
In February 2025, when Oasis received the nomination, Liam posted to X and commented on the honor.

Oasis will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame during the ceremony in November in Los Angeles. Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Sade, Wu-Tang Clan and the late Luther Vandross will also be inducted.
In 2025, Liam and his brother Noel, 58, performed a series of reunion shows as Oasis. In March of this year, Noel reflected on the success of the shows at the BRIT Awards and said they were "better than the '90s."
"To come back after all these years, to get No. 1 albums and all that is pretty mad, but we loved every minute and every second of it," he said of the band, which also has a documentary in the works.
