Kevin Hart was born on July 6, 1979, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and rose to fame through his stand-up comedy career. After performing at clubs throughout the East Coast, Kevin landed his breakout acting role in 2001 on Judd Apatow’s comedy series Undeclared. From there, he steadily built his Hollywood career with appearances in films like Scary Movie 3, Soul Plane, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Meet the Fockers before becoming one of the entertainment industry’s biggest comedy stars.

Beyond acting and comedy, he launched the media company HartBeat and expanded into producing, hosting and business ventures, becoming one of the highest-grossing comedians in the world.
Despite suffering serious injuries in a 2019 car accident, Kevin returned to performing and continued growing his career with projects across film, television and streaming. In recent years, he has starred in projects including Lift, Die Hart and Netflix’s comedy competition series Funny AF. He also has upcoming movies including the Netflix comedy 72 Hours and a new Ride Along sequel currently in development.
