Chloe Cherry is sharing her story of stardom.
On June 26, Simon & Schuster announced that the Euphoria star will publish her debut memoir Somewhere Dark and Hot in early 2027.
The book recounts Cherry's early years before joining the Emmy-winning HBO series as Faye. In 2016, Cherry ran away from her Pennsylvania hometown at 18 and entered the adult film industry. It was there that she found herself navigating “porn sets and model houses, eating disorders and insomnia, OnlyFans and unemployment, psychotic episodes and drug abuse,” the book's synopsis states.

Somewhere Dark and Hot traces Cherry's experience as a new face in the adult entertainment industry, along with finding fame on Euphoria alongside stars like Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Angus Cloud. But it's also a testament to how the actress managed to stay true to herself along the way.
“It's been extremely therapeutic for me to use my own experiences, even if they were negative, to entertain people. I get to take these bad experiences and turn them into something that I can gain,” Cherry told Rolling Stone of the book. “What I've always wanted to be able to do is show my own personal life perspective, instead of just having the world project things on to me based [on] what I do for a living.”

“The book is [asking] how far are you willing to go to get what you want,” she added. “How far are you willing to go to start over?”

The actress told the outlet that she was inspired by authors including David Sedaris, Hunter S. Thompson and Ottessa Moshfegh.
“Somewhere Dark and Hot is the rare memoir that is both intensely personal and culturally significant, capturing the realities of American girlhood, performance, fame, sex and self-invention,” said Stuart Roberts, vice president, executive editor and special projects at Simon & Schuster, in a statement shared with PEOPLE.
“From the moment I read it, I knew readers wouldn't be able to look away,” Roberts added. “Like Chloe herself, the book is disarmingly honest, wildly funny and full of hard-earned truths.”
Somewhere Dark and Hot will be published on Feb 23, 2027 and is now available for preorder, wherever books are sold.
