Courtney and Alex Quist’s family is getting a little bigger!
The Nashville-based influencers announced they are expecting their second baby together in January 2027, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE. Courtney and Alex, who are already parents to daughter Aspyn, 1½, are “ecstatic” about the baby on the way, and the soon-to-be dad of two says they couldn’t imagine only having one kid.
“We’re ecstatic about welcoming another child into our family,” Alex tells PEOPLE. “We love our first kid so much that we couldn’t imagine only having one!”

The news comes five months after the couple announced that they experienced a miscarriage. The difficult experience made sharing their pregnancy news with their family even sweeter.
“We had a lot of friends and family praying for us because of our recent miscarriage, so we were so excited to share the news with them all,” Courtney explains. “We’re so thankful for all the people in our lives that we get to celebrate with!”
The soon-to-be mom of two says her pregnancy this time around has been “so much easier” than with their daughter.
“This pregnancy has been so much easier than my first pregnancy with our daughter. Barely any nausea,” she says. “I haven’t had too many pregnancy cravings, but I know they are coming.”

With Aspyn, the content creators share that they waited until Courtney was 20 weeks pregnant to find out the sex. This time around, the proud parents intend to find out much sooner.
“I want to know the gender so badly,” Courtney admits. “I want to know if I should keep buying more gender neutral clothing (for if it’s a boy) or if I can go all out on the girl clothes.”
As for baby names, the pair has a few names picked out, but they won’t be sharing them anytime soon.
“We’re down to a couple different names, but we won’t be telling anyone until after the baby is born!” says Alex.
