Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Damon, made the U.K. premiere of The Odyssey a date night.
The couple walked the red carpet together at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London on Sunday, July 5, celebrating the upcoming release of Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated epic film, in which Damon stars as Odysseus.
Luciana, 49, wore a Gabriela Hearst Tibor Rope Strapless Column Maxi Dress in black suede and merino wool from the designer’s Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The elegant gown featured natural braided leather rope detailing, adding a subtle nod to the film’s ancient-world setting.
Damon, 55, complemented her look in a light gray pinstripe three-piece suit paired with a navy blue striped tie. He completed the ensemble with a white pocket square featuring a black paisley-like design and chestnut brown Oxford shoes.

The pair posed arm in arm as they smiled for photographers against a dramatic backdrop inspired by the film. A towering Trojan Horse loomed behind guests, while the carpet itself was transformed into a sand-like walkway, immersing attendees in the mythological world of The Odyssey before they even entered the theater.
The film is Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s epic poem, following the legendary Greek king Odysseus on his perilous journey home to Ithaca after the Trojan War. Along the way, he encounters mythical creatures, dangerous temptations and seemingly impossible obstacles as he fights to reunite with his wife, Penelope, and son, Telemachus.
Damon leads an all-star ensemble that includes Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron and more. Many of the film’s stars were in attendance for the London premiere, and several of their cast mates joined Damon on the sand-covered carpet for the UK celebration.

The premiere also marked another public date night for Damon and Luciana. The couple has been together for more than 20 years, and they first met in 2003 while Damon was filming Stuck on You in Miami, where Luciana was working as a bartender. The two officially tied the knot in December 2005.
Together, they share daughters Isabella, 19, Gia, 17, and Stella, 15. Damon is also stepfather to Luciana’s eldest daughter, Alexia, 27, from a previous relationship.
The couple has long kept their family life relatively private, though Luciana frequently joins Damon on the red carpet. The Odyssey premiere was no exception, with the longtime couple looking relaxed and affectionate as they celebrated Damon’s latest collaboration with Nolan.
