Ed Kelce is looking forward to seeing his family grow.
The father of Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce spoke to Fox 29 Philly outside of Jason's annual Team 62 Fundraiser at Ocean Drive in Sea City Isle, N.J., on Wednesday, June 24, where the proud dad opened up about his youngest son’s upcoming wedding to Taylor Swift. The event raises funds for the Eagles Autism Foundation.
“I am super excited,” Ed said of the nuptials before praising Swift, 36. “She is a sweetheart. That is truly the girl next door."
The highly anticipated wedding is rumored to take place this summer. The couple, who confirmed their relationship in October 2023, announced their engagement via a joint Instagram post in August 2025.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," Swift wrote in the caption at the time.

Travis, 36, reportedly celebrated his upcoming nuptials with bachelor party festivities including stops at The Bird Streets Club, a Chris Lake concert, Barney's Beanery, a NASCAR race at Naval Base Coronado, and a golf simulator in mid-June.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end's father isn’t the only one who is excited for what’s to come.
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about his appreciation for Swift for spending time with his family during Tight End University, the annual three-day training camp he co-founded with the Grammy winner’s fiancé and sportscaster Greg Olsen, 41.
"She's just such an awesome person to give us her time this close to their wedding," Kittle, 32, told PEOPLE on Tuesday, June 23. "So we're just so thankful that they're here."
That same day, Kittle told ExtraTV that he would be attending the wedding and might even be preparing to break a rule.
"They said absolutely no gifts. But I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, really likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin," the San Francisco 49ers tight end said at the Tight Ends & Friends Concert Presented by Sports Illustrated and Reese's in Nashville, joking to the outlet, "Sounds expensive, too."

Before the football star and the singer announced their engagement, Swift announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, during her New Heights podcast debut in August 2025. She also hinted that she and Travis lived together.
Months later, a source told PEOPLE that despite their busy schedules, the couple was adamant about making time for one another.

“Taylor’s had an incredibly full, demanding year and she’s really proud of everything she’s accomplished,” the source said in December 2025. “She’s worked extremely hard and her schedule has been nonstop, but even with everything going on, she and Travis still put a lot into their relationship.”
The insider added that the couple “really support each other’s careers and understand the demands that come with what they each do. Whenever they can, they make time to be together and really value that alone time.”
