- Bream recently interviewed Trump’s former lawyer Todd Blanche, asking tough questions about legal disagreements and security upgrades
Donald Trump isn’t pleased with Shannon Bream‘s coverage of his administration.
The president, 80, took to Truth Social in multiple posts on Aug. 16 to slam the Fox News host, referring to her as “Milktoast,” an apparent misspelling of “milquetoast,” which is used to describe a spineless or bland person.
“Watching Fox News with Shannon Bream is always like watching the Worst of Fake News CNN,” Trump wrote. “I don’t know Shannon, but she always seems to pick guests, charts, and ‘polls’ that are negative, never talking about all of the incredible things that the Trump Administration has done.”
He claimed that Bream selects “hostile guests” and “losers” to interview, naming Juan Williams, whom he claimed “begged” him for a photo. Trump called Bream’s show “beyond redemption.”

He later posted again, calling out Bream for her coverage of his White House ballroom.
“Why didn’t Shannon Bream, ‘Milktoast’ to her friends, show the updated pictures instead of ones that were so old and irrelevant?” he wrote, claiming the renderings used were “months old,” adding, “Her show, Fox News Sunday, is so biased against MAGA, ‘TRUMP,’ and Republicans, that it is ridiculous!”
He went on to compare Bream to her Fox News Sunday predecessor, writing, “Even Chris Wallace was better, and he was really bad (WHERE IS CHRIS WALLACE?). Also, she, Brett B [Bret Baier], and others, should stop showing Fake Polls.”
His comments come after Bream interviewed Todd Blanche, the new U.S. attorney general and Trump’s former personal lawyer. Bream asked Blanche a series of hard-hitting questions, including why he has not chosen to go to Congress for approval on Trump’s ballroom plans.
“Yes, it is a ballroom, but it’s also a meaningful upgrade and necessary part of the security of the city and the security of the president and his family,” Blanche said. “It’s not just about a place for world leaders to come and have dinner, it’s also about making sure the president and his family, guests, world leaders are safe when they’re in the city.”

Bream also asked Blanche how he’d handle legal disagreements with the president.
“He and I share the exact same goals for this country,” Blanche replied, saying Trump would “expect” him to “tell him no” if he disagrees.
Bream has not publicly responded to Trump’s accusations.
