Alyssa Farah Griffin has returned to the table!
On Monday, April 13, the new mom, 36, returned to her seat at The View, two months after welcoming her first baby, son Justin Patrick Griffin, Jr., with her husband Justin Griffin.
"We're thrilled to have Alyssa back," co-host Whoopi Goldberg kicked off the show Monday morning.
“I missed you so much. I’m back, I’m a human lighter, but he’s here, he’s with us, little Justin is the most magical thing. All of you who are moms told me. They said your brain chemistry changes overnight, and it is so true," Alyssa shared.
"My world just feels more magical and full, and I’m just so grateful to him."

The first-time mom also gave a special shout-out to her "amazing husband."
"You see the best in your partner in traumatic labor," she said with a laugh. "But also, they say it takes a village, and I have the best nanny at home, Maria, and night nurse, Teresa, which is such a blessing."
"I could not be here today at work doing my job without them, and also shout-out to nurses, who are literally angels in scrubs," she continued. "They are just the best."

She also noted that she'd been watching The View during her time away.
"You were all amazing while I was gone. I was watching, and I was like, ‘This is the best show I have ever seen. It’s way better on TV than at the table!'"
Alyssa and her husband Justin welcomed their baby boy on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
Their happy news was shared at the top of the ABC daytime talk show on Wednesday, Feb. 11. A day earlier, Goldberg revealed that Alyssa had to skip the show because she had gone into labor.
"The first thing we want to do is start by congratulating Alyssa and her husband Justin on the birth of their baby boy," Goldberg said at the time. "He weighed in at 7 lbs. and 19½ inches."

Alyssa announced her pregnancy back in October, telling PEOPLE that she and Justin, who wed in November 2021, had tried for two years before conceiving after five rounds of in vitro fertilization (IVF).
During that time, Alyssa learned she had endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of it, making it harder to get pregnant. "I went undiagnosed my whole life until I started this process," Alyssa shared at the time. "So that just added to the complications."
As tough as it was, all the sadness and frustration disappeared when they learned they were having a boy.
"I'm so excited to be a boy mom, even though I'll be outnumbered at home because we have two male dogs." Alyssa said, joking that the four female The View co-hosts will help "balance" things out. "But we wanted a boy first. I grew up with sisters, and I've always liked the idea of a big brother looking out for the younger siblings (because we both want two kids)."
