Spotify announced its most streamed artists, songs, album and more to mark the platform's 20th anniversary

Taylor Swift can add yet another achievement to her resume!
Spotify marked its 20th anniversary on Thursday, April 23 by revealing its all-time most streamed artists, songs, albums and more. Swift, 36, leads the list of artists who've received the most streams in the platform's history.
The "Opalite" singer currently holds over 101 million monthly listeners on Spotify, making her the sixth most popular artist in the world on the platform currently.

The second most streamed artist of all time on Spotify is Bad Bunny, followed by Drake, The Weeknd and Ariana Grande.
Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio topped Spotify's list of all-time most streamed albums with his 2022 release Un Verano Sin Ti. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, came in second with Starboy.
Ed Sheeran's ÷ (Deluxe) came in third on the albums list, with Olivia Rodrigo's SOUR in fourth and The Weeknd's After Hours in fifth.
Spotify's top five most streamed songs of all time are The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights," Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You," The Neighbourhood's "Sweater Weather," The Weeknd and Daft Punk's "Starboy" and Harry Styles' "As It Was."
The platform also revealed its most streamed podcasts and audiobooks of all time, and more information is available on Spotify's For the Record blog.

Swift's impact on culture is present as ever this month. She recently led the 2026 American Music Awards nominations with eight in total, while American Idol announced earlier this week that the top seven contestants will perform the "Lavender Haze" singer's music on a special April 27 episode.
"Next week, the top seven will officially enter their Taylor Swift era!" host Ryan Seacrest said during the most recent episode of Idol. "They'll be taking the stage, celebrating the music of Taylor Swift, with iconic songs from Taylor's acclaimed catalog — from her early country roots to her global pop anthems, and all the Grammy-winning songs in between."
Throughout Swift's career, she's earned 14 No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as 14 Grammy Awards.
