Taylor Swift is in her yee-haw era!
The 14-time Grammy winner subtly paid tribute to Cowgirl Jessie with her glam during her surprise performance at the Toy Story 5 premiere, the new Disney-Pixar animated sequel that includes her new single, “I Knew It, I Knew You.”
Swift took the stage at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles in a dazzling yellow gown by Oscar de la Renta on Tuesday, June 9. The floor-length number was designed with a plunging V-neck, adorned with sparkling floral appliques.

The singer-songwriter wore her hair in a loose, tousled braid that fell gracefully down her back, while soft wisps framed the front of her face. The look was reminiscent of the film's iconic toy character, Jessie, who famously ties her red locks into a braid beneath her red cowgirl hat.
Swift wowed the crowd with two performances, beginning with the newly released "I Knew It, I Knew You." After the song, she gave a shout-out to the filmmakers and crew behind the franchise's latest film.

"If you're in this room and you worked on this film, thank you so much," she added. "Your work is amazing, and I hope you're all proud of yourselves."
The "Fate of Ophelia" singer also singled out Joan Cusack, who reprises her role as Jessie in the fifth installment. "Joan Cusack has done such an extraordinary job as Jessie. It's an honor to write for her," she said.
"I'm very lucky to have the chance to write for this film," Swift said, before hinting at one last surprise. She then paid tribute to Randy Newman, the legendary composer behind Toy Story's beloved musical identity, calling him "the architect of the Toy Story musical universe."

Moments later, Newman joined her on stage for a duet of the franchise's signature song, "You've Got a Friend in Me."
Prior to her performances, Swift walked the red carpet in a look that channeled a different Toy Story character: Bo Peep! She rocked an all-white, off-the-shoulder minidress by Erdem, which also featured a floral print that stood out against the red carpet backdrop.
The superstar also posed for a photo with the rest of the Toy Story 5 cast. She was seen holding a VHS copy of the original Toy Story, signed by members of the cast.
Toy Story 5 opens on June 19.
