Suki Waterhouse opened up about how Robert Pattinson inspired her new song “Weirdo.”
In an interview with Rolling Stone on Friday, July 10, the indie-pop singer discussed the new song about her fiancé, with whom she shares a daughter born in March 2024.
Waterhouse, 34, revealed that the song is about missing your partner when you’re away from them.

“Since I’ve had my daughter, we’ve both been on this whirlwind, and he’s been making lots of movies, and that means not always being together, which is something that I find difficult and grapple with,” she said.
Added Waterhouse, “That song is reassuring to me. It feels like it has this knowing that we’ll be back together again. We can both be doing our own thing and be apart, and we’re strong enough…we have that thread between us.”

The model and actress also reflected on how parenthood and her relationship to Pattinson, 40, transformed her.
Waterhouse said it taught her that she could be “all these things at once.”
“The things that I was afraid of…I don’t think I have to be afraid of anymore,” she said. “I think being a parent has just kind of like given me this, like, I’m, I’m just like widened. I have more love,” she said.
Waterhouse added that becoming a mom has helped her “refine my own happiness.”

Waterhouse and Pattinson initially met in July 2018, when they were spotted showing PDA in London. The couple made their red-carpet debut four years later, attending the Dior Men Fall 2023 show in Giza, Egypt. They got engaged in December 2023.

In January 2025, there was speculation that the pair secretly wed when Sharon Stone referred to Pattinson as Waterhouse’s “husband” during the American Heart Association Red Dress Collection Concert in New York City. The Daisy Jones & The Six star reportedly did not visibly react or correct the marriage comment at the time.
During a March interview with Extra alongside Zendaya, The Drama co-stars were asked what the biggest secret they’ve ever kept is.
Zendaya, 29, teased that there was “nothing that comes to mind” amid Tom Holland marriage buzz, and Pattinson revealed that he had “the same” secret as the Euphoria star.
