Bride-to-be Sofia Franklyn celebrated her upcoming wedding with a sun-soaked getaway with friends in Mexico.
The Sofia with an F podcast host, 33, was joined by 10 loved ones for the three-day bachelorette trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The group stayed at the exclusive Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa, which boasts an infinity pool, rooftop bar, a private beach club and ocean-view rooms.
Franklyn, who got engaged to her fiancé — whose name she's keeping private — in August 2025, tells PEOPLE that Cabo was "the obvious choice" for the party's location.

"I wanted somewhere fun, sunny, chic, and easy to get to for my West Coast girls (and gays), especially since my wedding is overseas," she explains. "And when we started looking at hotels, Corazón kept coming up because a few of my friends had stayed there before and had such great experiences."

She adds, "It’s everything I wanted to treat my loved ones to. I love a party, but I also wanted to make sure my crew felt like they really got a true luxury escape from their lives for the long weekend."
Guests included Franklyn's cousin and podcast co-host, Alex Franco, and her "bestie" Ali, whom she says her "longtime listeners know and love."
Overall, Franklyn says she was aiming for an "elevated, playful and beachy" vibe for the celebration. "Also, a tad bit debaucherous — but still with chic moments," she adds.

Franklyn organized the trip with help from her friend Delaney Anderson and says she found the planning process pretty easygoing. "I had the strongest opinions about the themes and gifting my crew things I think they’ll genuinely love," the former Call Her Daddy host notes.
As for her must-pack essentials, she brought along "various seashell accessories I have been waiting my entire life to wear, every electrolyte on the market, and a copy of my book I can pose with on the beach." (Franklyn is set to release a memoir, titled Daddy Issues, on Nov. 10.)

The bride-to-be arrived in Mexico on Thursday, May 14, a day ahead of her guests, and spent time working from the rooftop by the infinity pool at the resort. That night, she enjoyed an intimate dinner, hosted by Chef Eric de Maeye at Corazón Cabo Rooftop 360, before she was joined by her friends for welcome drinks.

On Friday, May 15, the group did beach-view yoga at Corazón Cabo, wearing matching pink sets. They also enjoyed a yacht day aboard Cabo Yacht Charters' 100-foot Number Juan vessel. A private chef prepared tailored food and cocktails as the boat cruised along the Sea of Cortez. There was plenty of laughter, dancing and swimming.

The day was capped off with a "mermaid" night over dinner at the Waldorf Astoria's El Farallón restaurant that included a fireworks surprise from Franklyn's fiancé. Then, the celebration moved to the Mandala nightclub.

When choosing her outfits for the trip, Franklyn emphasized items that were "sleek, breezy and shoppable, except for one or two special pieces that were more luxury."
For Friday's mermaid-themed dinner, she wore a look featuring seashells she's collected throughout her life. "I wanted to lean into the ocean vibes as much as possible, so pearls were also required for one of the other themes," she says.

Ahead of the getaway, Franklyn prepped by doing three sessions of microneedling, keeping up with her Botox and "staying consistent" with her personal training.
Franklyn met her fiancé, who works in finance, through the professional matchmaking service Maclynn.

They got engaged on a hilltop in Provence, France, at the Airelles Gordes, La Bastide hotel. Her future husband popped the question privately over room-service pancakes and a bottle of rosé.
Now, the podcaster is looking forward to tying the knot and "living life alongside" her best friend.
"I feel really safe with him," she says of her fiancé. "He’s an amazing listener and somehow always remembers the smallest details."

After the wedding, Franklyn will be busy promoting Daddy Issues, which explores her time co-founding Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper, the pair's fallout and everything that came after.
"I finally feel ready to share my story from a place of honesty and vulnerability," she says of releasing the memoir, "and I look forward to people hearing my experiences directly from me, in my own words."
Daddy Issues will be available on Nov. 10 wherever books are sold.
