Simone Biles has cemented her place as one of the greatest athletes of all time. Born on March 14, 1997, the gymnastics superstar has spent more than a decade rewriting the record books, winning 11 Olympic medals, including seven golds, and becoming the most decorated gymnast in World Championships history.
She is also a trailblazer in the sport, setting the American record for the most gold medals won by a female gymnast at a single Olympic Games and consistently raising the bar with skills so difficult that several now bear her name. In 2019, Biles became the first gymnast in history to land a double-double dismount on the balance beam in competition, pretty much proving that she is the Greatest. Of. All. Time.
Beyond her accomplishments on the mat, Simone has inspired millions through her resilience, advocacy for mental health, and commitment to athlete well-being.
