Peter Dinklage, born June 11, 1969, is an actor. The New Jersey native began his career in the 1990s and earned critical acclaim with his breakout performance in the 2003 film The Station Agent. Years later, Peter became a household name for playing Tyrion Lannister in HBO’s Game of Thrones, a role that won him four Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe.

He has since starred in projects including X-Men: Days of Future Past, Cyrano, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and Wicked: For Good. Peter has been married to theater director Erica Schmidt since 2005, and the couple share two children.
