Anthony Edwards and Shannon Jackson are married!
The Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard, 24, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Shannon Jackson earlier this month. Edwards and Jackson, 37, were married on Thursday, July 16, according to Minnesota public records viewed by PEOPLE.
The couple, who share 2-year-old daughter Aislynn, sparked marriage rumors when Edwards was seen wearing a black band on his ring finger at Fanatics Fest last week.

Alongside Aislynn, Edwards is dad to daughter Aubri’ Summers, 8 months, whom he shares with Ayesha Howard. Jackson is also mom to son, Krue, with rapper Chief Keef.
Edwards’ nuptials come just three months after Howard accused Edwards of hiding some of his assets to avoid paying child support.
Howard alleged that Edwards “intentionally concealed” California-based financial assets when she previously pursued child support payments from the professional athlete in 2024, per an affidavit filed in Superior Court of Los Angeles County on April 7, and obtained by PEOPLE. Page Six was first to report the news.

A spokesperson for Edwards did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment in April.
Howard’s April filing came shortly after she shut down rumors that the NBA star paid the entirety of his child support payment upfront. After X users speculated that the Timberwolves guard paid Howard “18 years of child support” totaling more than $1 million upfront, Howard denied the rumors in an exclusive statement to The Shade Room on April 2.
“There are no court documents, motions or proceedings that have occurred, nor have I been offered or agreed to such terms,” she said.
Earlier this week, a Georgia judge ordered Edwards to pay Howard $3,222 per month in child support, TMZ reported, citing court documents. Howard’s case in California is still pending, per online court records viewed by PEOPLE.
Edwards and Jackson have been together since at least 2020. Jackson, a social media influencer, posted the first public picture of the couple on Instagram in 2020 and has often been seen sitting courtside at Edwards’ games for the Minnesota Timberwolves ever since.
