A mom and her month-old son remain missing after more than a week.
Nicole Andrus and her infant son, Krew Gordon, were reported missing on Thursday, July 16, but they have not been seen in person since Thursday, July 9, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Fort St. John, British Columbia, said in a news release.
“Police and family are concerned for their wellbeing, as it is out of character for Nicole to be out of contact with her family,” authorities said.
The RCMP said it believes Andrus, 31, and Krew may be travelling in a green 2003 Ford Expedition with the British Columbia licence plate RK360C.

Police in Canada describe Andrus as a White female who stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 135 lbs.
She has brown hair and hazel eyes, according to authorities.
“Nicole has not been seen in person since July 9, and it is out of character for her to be out of contact with her family,” RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Brett Urano said in a statement.
“We are asking anyone who has seen Nicole, Krew, or the vehicle they may be travelling in to contact police immediately,” he added.

The Fort St. John RCMP is asking that anyone who sees the mother and son, or the green Ford SUV they are believed to be traveling in, not approach the pair and instead contact police immediately at 250-787-8140.

The Fort St. John RCMP did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment or an update on the case on Saturday, July 18.
