The Duchess of Sussex was in Geneva, Switzerland, on Sunday to attend the installation of the Lost Screen Memorial at the Place des Nations on the sidelines of the 79th World Health Assembly.
The Lost Screen Memorial was created by Prince Harry and Meghan's Archewell Philanthropies in partnership with The Parents' Network initiative they spearheaded and features 50 illuminated lightboxes displaying the lock screens of young people who lost their lives to online violence and digital harm.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made advocating for a better digital world for the next generation a focus of their philanthropic work after stepping back from their royal roles in the U.K. in 2020 and Meghan called for her action in a speech at the installation ceremony.
She was joined there by World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who she and Harry joined on a humanitarian trip to Jordan in February, global health officials and families of children honored in the memorial, and she also met with Brazil's Health Minister while abroad.
