The mom of Levi Wright, a 3-year-old boy who died after a toy tractor accident two years ago, is opening up about life and grief as she honors her "sweet boy."
Earlier this year, in addition to marking what would have been Levi's 5th birthday, Kallie Wright, wife of rodeo star Spencer Wright, announced in an Instagram post that the couple had welcomed son Kreed Levi Wright.
The post was made on an account described as her "personal journey navigating grief & life " without Levi, who died on June 2, 2024 nearly two weeks after accidentally driving his toy tractor into a river.
“Sent down with an ‘angel kiss’ on his forehead," Kallie captioned the post from February. "No doubt who it's from."
In another post, she wrote that before being discharged from the hospital, a doctor told her that Kreed "will be your snuggler…and your tender boy," which was exactly how she used to describe Levi. "Kreed is his own person and will be, but I know Levi held him for us, told him what we needed and between all these things I am humbled, grateful and honored."
In April, she went on to share a new family portrait, which included a framed photo of Levi in a cowboy hat. "This wasn't the family photo I imagined 5 years ago," she wrote, adding, "it's bittersweet to say the least."
Days before the anniversary of his death, Kallie posted a video of her late son handing her a dandelion.
“3 years ago I got my last dandelion bouquet, 2 years ago I was in the hospital trying to make the hardest decision of my life and the best one for him," she wrote.

The mom acknowledged that it is “hard” to live “a normal life” whenever the heartbreaking anniversary rolls round.
“Those moments consume me,” she wrote on Instagram, before adding, “We love you sweet boy.”
Levi was initially hospitalized in critical condition and in the coming days, his mom shared numerous updates, some hopeful and others heartbreaking, on her son's progress. He was removed from life support 12 days later.
“Levi was the absolute best little boy. It's going to be tough navigating life without him,” family friend Mindy Sue Clark told PEOPLE said at the time.
