“Contestants will be tested at every measure,” Bass, 47, adds. “Nerves will be shaken. And emotions will be stirred.
“This isn’t a low-key mixer,” Fatone then proclaims. “It’s war.”
In each episode, “America’s buzziest mixologists” will face off for a $10,000 prize, per a press release shared with PEOPLE.
“Each installment showcases a fast, fiery battle of skill, creativity, humor, and flair,” the description reads. “From playful flavor combinations to eye-catching technique, the focus is on having a good time, taking risks, and serving up drinks with personality.”
“Each shake, stir, and splash could be the winning touch or the one that sends them home,” the release adds. “It’s a cocktail competition where the vibes are high, the drinks are strong, and the bragging rights are everything.”

Bass and Fatone recently had another reunion when they performed *NSYNC‘s No. 1 hit “It’s Gonna Be Me” for cheering fans during a post-show sing-along at Broadway’s & Juliet.
The song has become a meme marking the star of May, poking fun at Justin Timberlake‘s drawn-out pronunciation of the word “Me.”
The first two episodes of Cocktail Wars will premiere on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
