Krys Marshall is "super jazzed" to be able to enjoy one of her projects with her children.
While walking the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Toy Story 5 at the Dolby Theater on Tuesday, June 9, the Paradise star, 37, chats with PEOPLE about her role in the animated film and her life as a mom of two. During the conversation, Marshall opens up about how excited she is to share this moment with her older son, whom she welcomed with husband Ted Dolan in June 2023.
"My kid is here tonight, and he is so excited. He's been talking about it all week long," she says of her 3-year-old son. "He left school early, so that we could get here in time, and he's just over the moon."
"I think telling him that I'm an actor is one thing. He doesn't quite get it," she continues. "He's only 3, but then getting to see it all together and getting to watch mommy on screen. I'm just super jazzed."

Back in February, Marshall welcomed her second baby, another son, with her husband, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE. The newborn arrived weighing 7 lbs., 7 oz., and measuring 21 inches long. The actress told PEOPLE at the time that the new addition is "an absolute angel baby" who fits "perfectly" into the family.
"[Our] baby was born two weeks early and couldn't wait to be here. He's a sturdy little fellow with a calm disposition and a big appetite," Marshall said. "An absolute angel baby, [who is] so easy and hardly cries. He fits perfectly into our family."
Later in her conversation with PEOPLE at the premiere, the For All Mankind star explains how her older son is enjoying stepping into his new role as "big brother" to the new addition.
"He's doing great as a big brother. I mean, all afternoon he kept saying, 'Is the baby coming? Is the baby coming?' I'm like, 'The baby's too little to sit through a movie. He can't come tonight,' " she said. "But, he's just loving it. You know, in the beginning, it was a little bit rough. He was like, 'Hold on. My mom totally sold me down the river for this other smaller version of me.' But now he's loving being a big brother."

As for Marshall and her husband, the newly minted parents of two are definitely feeling everything that comes with having a newborn. The loving mom tells PEOPLE at the Toy Story 5 premiere that she and Dolan are "operating on less sleep than I would like" because of the newborn, but she adds she feels "so fulfilled."
"I am operating on less sleep than I would like. It's true," she says. "But the hard parts are far outweighed by the good parts."
"I feel so fulfilled. I feel so blessed," Marshall continues. "I mean, there are times that, like, I'm holding the baby and my son is standing in front of me and I just think to myself, like, 'I could just die. I'm so happy [that] I could die.'"
