Kris Jenner is sharing her advice for a successful future.

On the March 9 episode of the SmartLess podcast, the 70-year-old momager was asked if young people should be putting pressure on themselves to pursue the traditional education structure as many are “killing themselves” to thrive in business schools.

Kris —  who is mom to Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner — reflected on not preventing her children from seeking higher education despite not going to college herself.

“I'm going to get in trouble here because I did not go to college,” she said on the podcast. “That wasn't important to me because I wasn't the most amazing. I didn't love school because I was social.”

Kris told podcast hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett that she loved socializing throughout school, whereas her daughters Kendall and Kylie opted for homeschooling as they got older.

“It’s always been for me about socialization and making sure that obviously, I have a good education and I know my ABCs,” she said.

Kris described herself as a “smart cookie,” while emphasizing that it wasn’t a lack of knowledge that kept her from going to college.

“I love to learn and I soak it all in,” she said. “But everyone learns differently. I think that's what's interesting. You have to follow your heart, but it's also [about] what you want to go into.”

Jenner said she agrees with the idea of securing an education as a “safety net” to fall back on before exploring various options in life.

Not all of her children have needed higher education for their career aspirations.

“My son went to USC [University of Southern California]. Kim went to college for maybe a couple of weeks,” she said. “Kourtney graduated from college.

“Half of my kids did it and half of my kids didn't, so it's a mixed bag for me,” she continued. “I think it really depends on whether you want to be a doctor or a physician of any kind of surgeon.”

Having listed several roles in the medical field, Kris agreed with the podcast hosts that a college education is also “necessary” for legal careers.

Kim is working toward becoming a lawyer alongside appearing in the family’s reality TV show, The Kardashians. Jenner and her children are also cashing in entrepreneurially with beauty, fashion, alcohol and cleaning product businesses.

She concluded that young people should “follow your heart” when making career choices.

“What is it that gets you excited about life and what you want to do with your career?” she advised young people to consider.
