The host then questioned whether the mom of two had considered “becoming the next bachelorette," but Lopez drew the line there.
“Are you crazy?” she asked Kimmel before clarifying that she was “not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now,” adding that being single was “fantastic.”
She went on to note that she “could never,” appear on the ABC reality dating show. “I'm good. I'm good right now where I'm at.”
Later in the interview, Kimmel asked the “On the Floor” singer if it was hard for her to meet men, and Lopez didn't rule out finding love again, telling him, “I'll meet somebody somewhere one day if they're good enough.”

In August 2024, Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, 53, more than two years after the couple married in July 2022.
"She tried really hard to make things work, and is heartbroken," a source told PEOPLE at the time.
The pair famously rekindled their romance in 2021, more than 17 years after they initially were engaged and postponed a planned September 2003 wedding. The pair officially broke up for the first time in January 2004 and remained friendly in between.

Lopez's interview with Kimmel isn't the first time she has reflected on her single status, however. During a March interview on Good Morning America's Nightline, the star said she had to put everything on pause after filing for divorce from Affleck, as she was done with “running away.”
“I had to stop everything and I took a year off. I canceled tours,” Lopez said, referring to the May 2024 cancellation of her This Is Me… Live tour. “I just decided to be home and sit in what had happened without running away from it through work, through another person, through anything — just sit.”
Lopez added, “I was just at a point where I was like, ‘What is going on with you?' Because I couldn't blame anybody else … so I really wanted to figure myself out.”
