Hailey Bieber‘s sister Alaia Baldwin Aronow is avoiding jail time for charges in connection with an altercation at a bar in 2024 where she threw a tampon at a bartender.
Aronow, 33, has entered a pre-trial diversion program, according to court records reviewed by PEOPLE. She is next scheduled for an arraignment on Aug. 25, and is required to attend classes and potentially pay fines in connection with her charges of simple assault, simple battery, battery, and criminal trespassing.
Georgia’s pre-trial diversion program offers “an alternative to prosecuting offenders in the criminal justice system,” according to law firm Lawson & Berry. “Their hopes were to help reform offenders and help them not make mistakes in the future instead of just sending them off to prison where they may not learn anything.”
Aronow was charged after being involved in a physical altercation at a bar called Club Elan in Savannah, Ga. on Feb. 24, 2024, PEOPLE previously reported, citing the Savannah Police Department.
According to a police report previously obtained by PEOPLE, security footage allegedly showed Aronow forcing her way into an employee bathroom. Two bouncers and a bartender say they told Aronow she wasn’t allowed in and needed to use the public restroom, when she allegedly became combative, the report claimed.
One bouncer told police Aronow yanked his hair. The other, who said he put the model in a bear hug, claimed Aronow kicked him in the genitals, the report said.

A bartender at Club Elan interviewed by police claimed Aronow had told her she needed to use the bathroom to throw up and change her tampon, and was granted a few minutes, according to the report. When the bartender returned, Aronow allegedly threw a tampon at her, prompting her removal from the bar.
