Meghan announced the news on Instagram, sharing multiple photos of herself cradling her baby bump

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Tyler Glasnow and his wife, Meghan Murphy Glasnow, are expecting their first baby together.
On Wednesday, May 27, Meghan announced on Instagram that she is pregnant, sharing multiple photos of herself cradling her baby bump.
The first snap showed Meghan wearing a blue dress, beige cardigan and cowboy boots, as she smiled at the camera and cradled her belly with her left hand.

Tyler, 32, also posed for photos with his wife while wearing matching clothing. He wore a blue button-up shirt with a beige cardigan and light brown slacks. The last photo showed the couple sharing a laugh as they both held their bellies next to a golden buddha statue.
“Full bellies!” Meghan captioned the pictures, which were taken at the Japanese restaurant, Yamashiro Hollywood, located in the Hollywood Hills.
She reshared the post on her Instagram Stories, writing, "Hi baby"

The pair received several messages of congratulations following the announcement, including from Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott’s former partner Sarah Jane Ramos, who wrote, “Gorgeous gorgeous glowing MAMA 😍 So happy for you guys 🥹🤍.”
Mckenzie Buehler, the wife of San Diego Padres pitcher Walker Buehler, also chimed in, “Can’t wait for next spring with the babies!!”
Tyler and Meghan first met in 2021 while the former was still playing for the Tampa Bay Rays. The baseball player shared in a 2024 interview with the Los Angeles Times that he was at a game when he spotted Meghan in the stands.

“I saw a girl who was kind of cute, so I had our team photographer zoom in on her — this just sounds very weird — but she was wholesome, with a girl-next-door look,” Tyler told the outlet of seeing Murphy.
He recalled, “So I wrote my phone number on a ball, threw it to her and told her to text me. She came to the next game, threw me a ball with her number and told me to text her."

Tyler said he "didn't think anything would come of" the chance interaction until they met up later. "But then I met her, and she was awesome," the pitcher shared. "She has a really good personality, loves to travel and is really fun, so it’s super easy."

The two got engaged in August 2024 and wed in a private beachside ceremony late last year, according to photos shared by the couple in December 2025.
Tyler was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in December 2023, after he played five seasons with the Rays. He was drafted into the MLB by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2016.
