Authorities in Nevada say an adult male and young boy found with gunshot wounds at a local airport were killed in an apparent murder-suicide, per several reports.
Elko Police said in a statement on Monday, April 13 they were "investigating a crime scene" at Elko Airport.
Responding officers found two people, whose identities have not been publicly released, with gunshot wounds, police said, according to 8 News Now, News 4 and KUTV.
An adult male was found deceased, and officers located the child inside a bathroom at the airport, the outlets reported, citing authorities. The man had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The child had suffered gunshot wounds and died after being taken to the hospital, the investigation revealed, according to the outlets.
