King, who announced her engagement to Kruger last May, is already mom to daughters Florence and Josephine with her ex-husband, The Fray guitarist Joe King.
The couple first announced they'd be welcoming their first baby together back in December, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE as they headed to Aruba for their babymoon. At the time, the actress told PEOPLE that it's been so "joyful" sharing their happy news with everyone.
"We've known the news for a while now, and it's been such a joyful experience getting to surprise and share our happy news with friends and family," King said. "I think my daughters were relieved to understand why Mommy was suddenly belching constantly and eating unusual amounts at weird times."
On their trip, the couple enjoyed the island's "crystal clear waters" and kept their days "intentionally simple" as they relaxed. King and Krueger spent time on Palm Beach, went to Tres Trapi beach and also read by the pool.
"Being pregnant I am drinking way more water than I usually do and so I loved that the hotel provided reusable water bottles that we could take with us around the island," she said. "That was a concern of mine, making sure I stayed hydrated in the sun, but there were refill stations of the delicious and potable water that the locals call, 'Paradise on Tap' everywhere we went!"
She continued, "I highly recommend Aruba for anyone looking for a place to disconnect and relax. It was the perfect kind of slow, peaceful vacation I’ve been craving before the baby arrives."

King told PEOPLE at that time that her pregnancy was "shockingly" calm and she was enjoying surprising her family members with her major update.
"My social media algorithm immediately turned into a full-on pregnancy algorithm because all I was searching was how to surprise friends and family," she admitted. "We surprised our family when we were all together having a belated engagement celebration. We handed out Save the Dates, but instead of them being for our wedding, it was to meet Baby Krueger."
"I'm so happy that I have us surprising my daughters on video. It's a moment we'll treasure forever," she continued. "I feel lucky to say that I had a very typical first trimester and just felt seasick the whole time. Shockingly, I'm just craving fruit. Which worked out great for our babymoon in Aruba, where all I did was eat fruit and acai bowls 24/7."
