Ashley Trail’s Big Brother journey may have ended after just one week, but she still walked away with an experience she never expected: eating her very first burger.
After being unanimously evicted in a 14-0 vote during Thursday’s live episode, the season 28 houseguest, 24, caught up with PEOPLE about the lighter moments from her time in the house, including the meal that has become one of her favorite memories.
“It was kind of exhilarating, and the fact that I did it in the Big Brother house feels so peak,” Trail says of trying a burger. “I don’t know how I’m gonna top this ever in my life, other than hit up the greasiest, most fast-foodie place ever. Like, a real-deal, double-stack burger. I just can’t wait to keep upping it.”

Now that she’s out of the house and still in California, Trail already has her sights set on her next stop.
“I keep hearing In-N-Out is the whole shebang of where I need to visit,” she says. “A little fry on the side, a little milkshake to wash it down. And, hey, I’m not mad at it. We’re in California — I need to live it up while I’m here.”
Trail says another silver lining of leaving during the first week was avoiding much of the chaos that inevitably takes over the house.
“The good news is for me leaving week one, my one true perk might just be that I didn’t get a lot of drama,” she says. “I got a lot of the ‘we get to know each other’ light and dandy icebreakers and trauma-bonding, crazy conversations. I got a lot of fun and light out of it before things got crazy, luckily.”

That doesn’t mean she was ready to leave Big Brother behind for good.
When asked if she’d play again, she says, “Oh my gosh, absolutely. Yes, please. Only gonna dream about it nightly.”
Looking back on her game, Trail believes her aggressive campaigning ultimately determined her fate after she landed on the block. “I feel like it really was just whenever I was doing all that campaigning,” explains Trail. “I never really knew that the first week I would have to do all that campaigning.”

The bartender adds that she took advice from allies at face value, believing they were helping her navigate the game. “Honestly, all that campaigning is not something that I would’ve ever strategized or thought of in my own little small brain,” she says. “It was my demise, ultimately.”
If she could rewind the clock, she’d change her approach. “I would’ve absolutely talked the games sooner,” Trail says. “And do you know what? I would’ve never even ever went on my whole campaign of keeping me. I would’ve just relied on possibly the word of mouth of the people that were going to keep me.”

Despite her unanimous eviction, Trail says she doesn’t harbor any hard feelings toward the houseguests who voted her out.
Big Brother 28 also brought three reality TV veterans into the house: Big Brother 26 alum Angela Murray, Survivor 45 winner Dee Valladares and two-time Survivor player Rick Devens. As for who she’s now rooting for from the outside, Trail says Murray, 52, has her full support.

“I’m rooting for Angela to win the BB house over and just ultimately win the game because she is just so kind and sweet. I genuinely think she’s genuine, even though she had to do what she had to do and kick me to the curb,” Trail says. “I think that she’s just playing a nice, sweet game.”
She also recalled one heartfelt moment the two shared after Trail began feeling isolated in the house.
“Whenever I felt so alone in the house, I was kind of confiding in her, telling her that ‘I can’t find my people,’” Trail says. “She was like, ‘Ashley, come here. Let’s pull aside. Like, I want to get to know you.’ I was just able to really deep dive into my life, and she was there for me, nodding along, getting all teary-eyed. It felt really genuine and just so good.”
