Alex Warren's new era is here — and so is his latest music video!
On Thursday, June 4, the "Ordinary" hitmaker shared the lead single from his forthcoming sophomore album WILDCHILD with "Passenger."
"How do I drive from the passenger side? (Woop-woop) / I've been holding on tight to a telephone line (Woop-woop) / Living your dream, baby, what about mine? (Woop-woop) / Tell me I'm yours, wonder what it feels like / What it feels like," Warren sings on the rousing song.

Alongside the track, he shared a music video directed by Blythe Thomas, which features Warren performing with his band and vying for the attention of a woman (played by Mikela Goza) who is lost in her phone. Throughout the visual, he attempts to woo her with magic tricks, confetti, an elephant and a declaration of love in the clouds.

“Growing up, my dad used to call me 'Wildchild' so it's always had a special meaning and I even have it tattooed on me,'" he said in a press release statement. “Creating this album was really healing, therapeutic and a way for me to continue finding out more about myself."
Added Warren, "This album really shows where I am in my life today and compared to my first album which feels like a man who is broken, this one is a man who's trying to heal. It's been really nice to be able to confront those feelings and also be able to share them with the world to give everyone a transparent view into my life.”
Per a press release, the album will feature "joyful and equally heart-wrenching themes which are both deeply personal to him and universally relatable to listeners."
"The album explores loss, grief and the journey that follows as he navigates his new life while treasuring the gifts his dad imparted to him both throughout his life and when saying goodbye," the release states.

Warren is currently in the midst of his Finding Family on the Road Tour.
WILDCHILD is due Aug. 28.
