Tom Holland is referring to Zendaya as his “wife” after confirming they had tied the knot.
During an appearance on the U.K.-based Dish podcast, presented by DJ Nick Grimshaw and chef Angela Hartnett, Holland, 30, was asked, “Which person would you like a holiday in Greece with?” during a quick-fire question round.
“I think probably my wife would be pretty good,” he replied. “It would be a bit strange if I went, ‘Sorry babe, I’m gonna take Matt [Damon, Holland and Zendaya’s Odyssey costar] actually.”
“I’m just having 10 days in Mykonos with Matt Damon,” quipped Grimshaw in agreement.

This isn’t the first time the Spider-Man star has spoken about Zendaya while doing press for The Odyssey, which is directed by Christopher Nolan and also stars Anne Hathaway and Robert Pattinson.
When Holland sat down with Nolan, Damon and Hathaway to discuss the filmmaker’s latest epic with PEOPLE, the British actor joked that he had to do a “lot of thinking” when Nolan, 55, first asked him to co-star in the movie as Telemachus, son of Damon’s Odysseus and Hathaway’s Penelope.
“I sat down with Z and was like, ‘I’ve been offered this movie,’ ” Holland said of his wife, whom he confirmed he had married in an interview last month.
“And she was like, ‘By who?’ And I was like, ‘It’s the big one.’ And she was like, ‘Chris?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, it’s Chris Nolan.’ ”

Holland continued, “Z said, ‘I’ll leave you if you don’t do The Odyssey.’ ” which had Nolan, Damon and Hathaway, 43, giggling as the director replied, “Well, thank you to her.”
The Avengers star also joked about 29-year-old Zendaya’s on-screen love interests during a July 17 interview with Wired.

“Did Athena [played by Zendaya] love Odysseus [Damon] romantically?” said Holland during the chat, reading a question submitted about the movie and its source material.
“No,” quipped the actor, “because she’s married to me.”

Laughing at his response, Damon, 55, said, “Yep. Good answer.”
Later in the Q&A, when asked about what Zendaya’s Athena teaches Holland’s Telemachus, Damon sweetly said, “True love,” and Holland agreed: “Yeah.”
During a June interview with Esquire, Holland confirmed for the first time that he and Zendaya had tied the knot. This admission came after the Euphoria actress’ longtime stylist, Law Roach, had announced in March that Holland and Zendaya’s “wedding has already happened. You missed it.”
The two actors originally met during a screen test for 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and their relationship was confirmed in July 2021.
This summer both appear in The Odyssey (which landed on July 17) and Spider-Man: Brand New Day (in theaters July 30).
