The woman with whom Sherrone Moore allegedly had an affair is no longer working with the University of Michigan.
"Her contract expired and was not renewed," the university's athletic department confirmed to PEOPLE.
Moore allegedly confessed that he and the woman were in an “intimate relationship for approximately two years” until Dec. 8, when she ended it, Det. Jessica Welker of the Pittsfield Township Police Department said during her testimony at Moore's Dec. 12 court hearing. He allegedly called and texted her multiple times over the next two days, according to Welker’s testimony.
On Dec. 10, the staffer reported the relationship to the university. The same day, Moore was fired from his position as the university’s head football coach for allegedly engaging in an "inappropriate relationship with a staff member."
Hours later, he was detained by police after officers responded to an "alleged assault." At the time, he allegedly refused to leave her residence until the woman called her lawyer, Heidi Sharp. The staffer had “never been more terrified in her life,” she told officers.
Sharp then called emergency dispatch on her client's behalf and, according to testimony from Welker, said that "Moore was inside of [her client's] home, attacking her,” according to a copy of the transcript from the Dec. 12 hearing.

Moore was booked into the Washtenaw Corrections Division the night of Dec. 10. He was released two days later after his wife, Kelli, with whom he has three children, posted his $25,000 bail.
The former football coach made his first court appearance on the day of his release. He was arraigned on one felony and two misdemeanor counts: third-degree home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering. The home invasion is the felony charge and stalking and breaking and entering are both misdemeanor charges.
On Jan. 23, he appeared in a Michigan courtroom for a probable cause hearing. His wife accompanied him.
His attorney, Ellen Michaels, sought a 30-day adjournment to gather additional discovery, telling the judge she was seeking the accuser’s phone records and Title IX documents from the University of Michigan.
Michaels then told the judge these records would include statements made by Moore's accuser and other evidence that could call her credibility into question.
The prosecution did not object, and the hearing was moved to March 19.
