Trader Joe's might be coming to a city near you!
The chain is expanding to nine new stores across eight states in the U.S., according to its website. The new locations will take root in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio and Utah.
Opening dates for the new locations are still to be announced.
The grocer confirmed to Cleveland.com that its current development list includes 25 locations across 14 states in established and emerging markets.
It told the outlet that nine stores were recently added to the list.

In each new location posting, the chain wrote on its website that it found “a terrific location” for the new store, adding that it is “proud to be joining the neighborhood.”
It noted that new details about the store's opening can be found on the announcement web page and recommended checking for further updates there.
Trader Joe's added that it is committed to “providing nourishment to the surrounding communities” through its Neighborhood Shares program, which donates unsold products from stores to community-based non-profit organizations each day.
Trader Joe's did not immediately reply to PEOPLE's request for comment on the new store openings.
The grocery store chain recently announced 18 other openings across 12 states.
New stores were announced in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Utah and Washington.
Trader Joe's told USA Today that these locations were expected to open within three to six months.
Some of these locations have already opened, per the chain's website, including the West Palm Beach, Fla., location on June 12, the New Orleans, La., location on June 10, and the Tucson, Ariz., location on May 29.
The Woodinville, Wash., location opened on May 15, and the McKinney, Texas store opened on May 7.
Another location opened on June 11 in Johns Creek, Ga. The other locations remain listed as coming soon on the chain's website.
Trader Joe's announced last year that it was opening 30 stores across 18 U.S. states.
In October 2024, Inside Trader Joe's podcast hosts Tara Miller and Matt Sloane shared how the chain selects locations for new stores.
They shared that the chain looks at population density and traffic, adding that while people advocating to get Trader Joe's near them is appreciated, it doesn't impact the store location decisions.
