Being related to a cosmetic injector has its benefits.
Twenty-seven-year-old Tampa, Fla., resident Alana Pergine went viral after sharing the "glow-ups" she's given her family members. "When you're the injector of the family, it's your responsibility to make sure everyone stays looking AMAZINGGGG 🔥," she captioned the April 1 TikTok post, which featured before and after photos of her sister, mom and cousin.
The jaw-dropping transformations prompted a hilarious running joke in the comments section from viewers seeking glow-ups of their own.
"Hey I'm your long lost sister," one user wrote.
"LOVED catching up at the last family reunion. Now where do i schedule, cousin?" said another.
A third joked, "Hey girl I'm in Tampa it's me your 186th cousin!! 🤪"
Pergine tells PEOPLE that the comments have been one of her "favorite parts" of going viral.
"They're hilarious," she says. "The majority are so positive and supportive, which I'm really grateful for."
Pergine explains that she made the video because her family members "were constantly getting asked in person what they'd had done."
"I decided to put together a quick video without thinking too much of it, and then it hit 3.5 million views!" she recalls. "Safe to say that was a bit of a surprise."

Pergine, who has been an injector since 2022, says her family is her "biggest support system" and "volunteered to be my guinea pigs" when she was training.
"Now, they're all on customized maintenance plans, and I like to think they're my most loyal clients (and definitely the ones who keep me on my toes!)," she adds.
Her younger sister, mom and cousin all had "completely different goals based on their age and lifestyle," Pergine explains.
"My sister is in her early 20s, so her treatments are focused on prevention and maintenance," she says. Pergine gives her lip enhancement with hyaluronic acid filler and routine neurotoxin treatments, which help her TMJ pain.
Pergine's mom, who's in her 50s, is given "the works" — and "loves it."
"We've done multiple rounds of filler and biostimulators to treat volume loss and support collagen production, along with full face and neck neurotoxin for maintenance," says the injector. "She's also incredibly consistent with her skin care and is very mindful about sun protection."

Replying to @xobrisenter you guys asked for a full breakdown of my mom’s transformation, so here’s a DEEEEP DIVE of what went into it this approach focused on gradual, strategic changes over time to support her natural features and overall balance we addressed areas like fine lines, volume loss, facial balance, and skin quality using a combination of treatments and consistency one of the biggest factors in her results is that everything was done progressively, not all at once, and tailored specifically to her needs we also prioritized long-term skin health with consistent treatments and a dedicated skincare routine, along with daily sun protection the key takeaway: results like this come from treatments over time and staying consistent disclaimer: this content is for educational purposes only. results vary for each individual. consult with a licensed professional to determine what is appropriate for you. #beautyhacks #transformation #beforeandafter #glowup #aestheticnurse

Her cousin, meanwhile, "is a professional makeup artist, so she already has a great understanding of facial structure, contours and highlights."
"That made our approach really collaborative," says Pergine. "We used filler and neurotoxin to enhance the natural contours she already emphasizes with makeup, and microneedling and lasers to keep her skin smooth and radiant. It's like taking what she does artistically and making it a little more long-lasting."

An aesthetic nurse practitioner, Pergine went to nursing school knowing exactly what she wanted to pursue.
"I've always loved beauty, but I'm equally fascinated by science," she says. "Aesthetics felt like the perfect blend of both worlds. It's where art meets medicine, and I get to use both every single day."
"When I graduated nursing school, breaking into the aesthetics industry wasn't easy," Pergine continues. "I was offered a medical assistant position at a well-known med spa, and even though it was technically a step down from an RN role, I knew the experience would be priceless. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I've made, it gave me such a strong foundation and shaped me into the injector I am today."
