South Park has a message for the president after securing its latest Emmy win.
On Sunday, Sept. 6, the Comedy Central show won Outstanding Animated Program at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
The trophy was specifically for “Sermon On The ‘Mount,” a July 2025 episode that mocked Donald Trump’s following, his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, and depicted him in bed with Satan. The season 27 premiere ended with a hyperrealistic deepfake of the president stumbling through the desert nude, with a “teeny tiny” penis.
To mark the Emmy win, South Park’s official social media shared a celebratory image, featuring its fictionalized Trump holding up the award.

In its caption, South Park also acknowledged the show’s creators: “Congratulations to Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and the entire South Park team on their Emmy win for Outstanding Animated Program!”
As for Trump, 80, the president has not won an Emmy award despite his work being nominated. The Apprentice was previously recognized in the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program category in both 2004 and 2005 with him listed as an executive producer, though the show failed to secure the trophy both years.
In the years since, he has been vocal about his dislike for the awards show, claiming that The Apprentice should have won “many times over” and the awards were “all politics” in a 2012 X (formerly Twitter) post.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, he claimed during a 2015 episode of The Apprentice that he was “screwed out of an Emmy” that ultimately went to The Amazing Race.
“Everybody thought I was going to win it. In fact, when they announced the winner, I stood up before the winner was announced,” he said at the time. “And I started walking for the Emmy. And then they announced the most boring show on television, The Amazing Race. Piece of crap.”

South Park’s latest victory marks the show’s fifth series win. It previously won the award for Outstanding Animated Program (for Programming Less Than One Hour) in 2005, 2007 and 2009, before winning Outstanding Animated Program in 2013. This year, it was nominated alongside Bob’s Burgers, Rick and Morty, The Simpsons, Smiling Friends and Star Wars: Visions.
South Park returns for its 29th season on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
The 78th Emmy Awards (Creative Arts) were held on Sept. 5 and Sept. 6 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will be edited into a single broadcast that airs Saturday, Sept. 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FXX and streams on Hulu the next day. The Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on NBC and Peacock Monday, Sept. 14, with host Mariska Hargitay.
