If you know me, you know I love — and I mean, truly love — blush. To be honest, if my cheeks don’t look like Sabrina Carpenter’s, I don’t want them.
That’s why I was absolutely bursting with excitement to hear that Draper James, Reese Witherspoon’s brand, recently collaborated with Laura Geller to launch a blush that looks like perfection (it even has pretty packaging).
This is also a huge, Elle-Woods-getting-into-Harvard kind of deal because it's the first time that Draper James has stepped into the beauty world, according to a press release. The collaboration is also with none other than the famed Oprah Winfrey-favorite brand that’s been worn by Fran Drescher.

While I love anything pink, the color payoff of this limited-edition blush is actually not the thing I adore most. Instead, it's the light-reflecting finish that outshines everything else. You see, matte blushes can make your complexion look a little dull and flat, but this one has a brightening effect that does the total opposite.
The brand also claims it’s “weightless” and “never cakes or creases,” which means you can wear it for hours on end without feeling or seeing your skin take a turn for the worse. Plus, the brand notes that it’s mature skin-friendly, so it shouldn’t settle in or emphasize any fine lines or creases.

The other standout product in the collection is this eyeshadow palette with 16 varying shades of pinks, mauves, and browns. It has a mix of satin, marbled, and matte shadows, so you can create a variety of looks, too, ranging from work-ready to after-hours glam. Heck, some of them could even double as a second (or third) blush!

Of course, no collection would be complete without the proper brushes. This one costs $24, which, yes, might seem a little pricey — until you remember that you can use it well beyond its intended purpose. Case in point: I also use my “blush” brush for bronzer, powder, and highlighter.
