Shawn Mendes rose to fame by posting a cover of Justin Bieber‘s “As Long As You Love Me” on the now-defunct social media app Vine. His six-second clips quickly garnered millions of views, turning him into an internet sensation and paving the way for a career full of hits like “Stitches” and “Señorita.”
The Canadian singer-songwriter has kept evolving in the years since. He released his fifth studio album, Shawn, in 2024, a stripped-back and deeply personal record, then returned to the stage with his On the Road Again Tour in 2025.
