In the photo, Tonkin and Lagrange kiss while standing next to their wedding cakes: a pair of life-size swans complete with large, feathered wings made out of buttercream and rose petals. The unique cakes were three tiers each and made by Paris Starn.
Before their reception, the couple said "I do" in a spiritual ceremony at non-denominational All Souls Church, per Vogue. Among the celebrity wedding guests were Margot Robbie, Samara Weaving, Annabelle Wallis, Eiza Gonzålez, Teresa Palmer, and Shaun White, along with Tonkin's former costars from The Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev and Claire Holt.
âWe had a very clear idea of the type of wedding we wanted. We wanted to share the city we love so much with the people who matter the most to us. Some had not been in years or been there at all,â Tonkin told Vogue. âWe knew we wanted beautiful flowers, good music, good food, good wine and a good time.â
Exclusively speaking to PEOPLE in September 2025, Tonkin raved that newlywed life is "the best" â now that she's actually able to spend time with her husband.
"It's the best," the H20: Just Add Water alum said. "I went and filmed a series in Australia straight after I got married, so it's nice to be back and actually enjoying married life."
