Olympic medalist Jack Sock still can’t believe how “unbelievable” Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding was.
The former tennis player and current pickleball pro, 33, recently opened up to Pickleballdotcom about his “crazy experience” at Swift and Kelce’s star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3.
Sock and Kelce, 36, “became good friends over the years” through their mutual connection to Kansas City and golfing outings. But it wasn’t until Kelce’s wedding that Sock met Swift, 36, for the first time — along with a slew of other celebrities.

“It was an unbelievable experience. It was everywhere from comedic relief to obviously tears for a lot of people. Great times, good energy, obviously, always gonna have that with Travis, who I’ve known for a long time now,” Sock said, adding, “It was a cool experience. A lot of people watching, as I’m sure you all know, amazing singing performances by different people, [Taylor] included, which was really fun to see.”
An estimated 1,000 guests attended the romantic affair. Sock listed a few of the A-listers he was “shoulder to shoulder” with during cocktail hour, including some who weren’t caught on camera.
“It was just one of the hallways they had at the cocktail hour, and there was just, ‘cause you’re kind of shoulder to shoulder with everybody, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, Charlize Theron, Brad Pitt, you’re just going down the road and you’re standing there waiting,” Sock recalled. “It was just a crazy, crazy experience.”
Sock didn’t chat extensively with any of the celebrity guests. Instead, he had “fun” people watching as he “stayed on the outskirts” and “stayed in [his] lane” before calling it a night “early.”
“We were gone probably hours before a lot of people, but, yeah, it was fun. It was fun,” he said. “It was unbelievable in so many ways. It was different than I was expecting maybe in some ways. So, overall it was just a crazy experience.”

Other celebrity wedding guests spotted include Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Sabrina Carpenter, Tom Hanks, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson and many more. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, and major musicians, including Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney, performed at the reception.
“The whole evening felt very guest-centric,” one source told PEOPLE of the wedding. “There was always something to do, see or play. There was never a dull moment.”
