Adéla has a fan in Nicole Kidman!
The Slovak pop star, 22, who rose to fame on the 2023 reality competition series Dream Academy, is gearing up to release her debut album Prima on Friday, Sept. 4, and the project features a song called “Nicole Kidman.” While speaking with a fan at the London premiere of Practical Magic 2 on Wednesday, Aug. 26, the actual Kidman, 59, revealed she’s a fan of Adéla.
In a video shared on social media, the fan asked if Kidman knew who Adéla was. At first she wasn’t sure, but the fan jogged her memory by mentioning the upcoming “Nicole Kidman” song. “Oh, yes! She is! I do know!” exclaimed Kidman.

“I absolutely know who she is, and she’s coming to Nashville, and I’m going to go see her,” added Kidman, referring to Adéla’s upcoming show at The Basement East in Nashville on Sept. 21 as part of The Red Bottoms Tour.
According to a fan account on Instagram, Adéla saw the video of Kidman declaring her fandom and commented, “WOW OH MY GOD NICOLE WOW OH MY GOD HOLY S— WOW.”
Kidman then launched a TikTok account on Thursday, Aug. 27 and used Adéla’s rising hit “Ain’t in LA” to soundtrack her first video.
“Ain’t in LA” was released in July, and the song has since reached No. 61 on the Billboard Hot 100 — marking Adéla’s first track to place on the chart.
The hit will feature on Prima. “I want this album to sound exactly like a 22-year-old girl,” said Adéla of the upcoming project in a statement around its announcement. “I tried to express both sides. I mixed the hard with the soft, the vulnerable with the swag of it all, the muscular beats with the feminine energy. I did exactly what I wanted to.”
She added, “PRIMA means ‘first’, which is perfect since this is my debut. Being a prima ballerina means you’re the top dog or the best ballerina in the house. It’s a term of endearment in the ballerina community. I’m trying to be the prima ballerina of pop, and this is my first step to achieve that.”
