Speaking with PEOPLE about her late mom, actress Natalie Wood, and an event celebrating her legacy, Natasha, 55, also took time to share her appreciation for the man who raised her.
Robert Wagner legally adopted Natasha after the Rebel Without a Cause actress' tragic drowning death in 1981. Her biological father is the late film producer Richard Gregson.
The Hart to Hart actor turned 96 in February. Natasha admits, "I ask him often like, 'Daddy, what is it like to be 96?' And he says, 'You always ask me that every year.' And I'm like, 'I know because I can't believe it.' "

"He's been such a constant in my life and in my daughter's life. I mean, he was literally in the room when I gave birth. I really can't imagine my life without him and yet I know that will happen," she acknowledges.
"But his voice is exactly as it was. It's so strong and vital still. He's a little more delicate on his feet, but I just can't believe that I've had him all these years. I feel so lucky because he and I have always been so close."
Natasha and husband Barry Watson share daughter Clover, who turns 14 later this month. Of the family's bond with Wagner, Natasha says, it makes her "so glad."
"It's funny, Barry, my husband, he and my dad, they just genuinely … I honestly think if they had just met working, they would be friends the way they are," she said.
Laughing, she adds, "Maybe that's why I picked Barry because he reminds me of my dad. I don't know."
