Trecina "Tina" Campbell of contemporary gospel duo Mary Mary and her husband, Glendon "Teddy" Campbell, are headed for divorce.
Teddy, 51, filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, April 13, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.
The couple originally tied the knot on August 12, 2000, and have been separated since June 2024, according to the documents. The couple share two children who are minors, Santana Campbell, 13, and Glendon Theodore Campbell II, 16.
Teddy has requested "child visitation (parenting time)" for his two minor children, per the documents.
The couple also share daughters Cierra, Laiah Simone, and Meelah Jane, who are all young adults. Cierra is Teddy's child from a previous relationship.
Spousal support was marked as "for future determination," per the documents reviewed by PEOPLE, which note that the couple do not share any "quasi-community property."
Tina, 51, rose to fame in the R&B-influenced gospel duo Mary Mary alongside her sister Erica Campbell. The sisters formed the group in 1998, finding crossover success with their early singles "Shackles (Praise You)" and "Walking."
Teddy, a gospel musician, previously performed as the drummer for The Tonight Show's in-house band while Jay Leno hosted the program.
The former couple previously navigated a public cheating scandal in 2014, during which Teddy was accused of infidelity. The scandal was documented on the WeTV reality show Mary Mary, which aired from 2012 to 2017.
"I know that I never kissed another man," Tina said in a clip from the show. "I never went out with another man, I've never entertained the wrong conversation, I never cheated in my head, I never did anything. I was 190 percent committed to that man and this is what you did? Every time I was gone you stole my life away from me. I'm angry."

Following the infidelity, the couple reconciled. Tina said that Teddy had an affair with a woman who once worked for her and was the godmother to her children in a joint interview on Steve Harvey in 2015.

"It broke my heart," Tina said on the show at the time. "It devastated me and I spazzed out. I destroyed three cars, I cut up and crashed up and tried to stab and plotted murders and all kind of crazy stuff because I was angry, and I started doing all of that. I said I'm practicing dying every day. Either I'm going die wrong or live right, and so we've been working on living right."
